The History Society is very concerned about the number of buildings in Castle Cary and Ansford which have architectural and/or historical significance but which are neglected and in a poor state of repair. We are endeavouring to contact the relevant bodies to alert them to the situation and to press for action to conserve them and find appropriate uses for them.
